Send up to 500 invoices at once with Bulk Invoicing

Creating and sending invoices doesn’t have to be a one-by-one task.

With Bulk Invoicing, you can upload a single file to create and send up to 500 invoices at once from your business online banking account. Whether you’re billing for the same service across many customers or working through a busy period, Bulk Invoicing helps you move through high-volume billing more efficiently.

A faster way to handle high-volume billing

Bulk Invoicing is built for efficiency when volume is high. Instead of manually building each invoice, you can upload a completed CSV file and let Autobooks generate the invoices for you.

This can be especially helpful if you:

  • Bill the same service to many customers at once

  • Send invoices weekly or monthly in larger batches

  • Need to catch up on a backlog

  • Experience seasonal spikes in billing

If invoicing tends to stack up, Bulk Invoicing gives you a streamlined way to process hundreds of invoices in one workflow — without repetitive data entry.

How Bulk Invoicing works

To get started, log in to your business online banking account, access Autobooks, and navigate to the Invoicing tab. From there, click Bulk Invoicing

The process is straightforward:

1. Download the CSV template
  • Start with the official Bulk Invoicing template. Using this template helps ensure your file is formatted correctly and includes all required fields.

2. Enter your invoice details
  • Each row in the template represents a separate invoice. Add your customer information, line items, pricing, and due dates directly into the file.

  • To avoid upload errors, do not modify the column headers.

3. Upload and validate
  • Upload your completed file and select Validate CSV. The system will check for formatting issues before invoices are created.

  • If any errors are flagged, you can correct them and upload the file again.

4. Review and send
  • Once validated, review your invoices and click Send invoices to deliver them to your customers by email.

  • Invoices created through bulk upload appear in your main invoice list and can be tracked just like any other invoice.
